The 59' DT Series

The 59' DT Series

As a kid growing up in Los Angeles, my parents always had a lot ofrock & roll paying in the house; everything from The Stones and theBeatles to Cream, early Aerosmith and all the other staples of classicrock radio.

There was one tone that I kept hearing that stuck in my head and ranthrough my blood. In my early teens, I learned that the sound I lovedso much was epitomized by Leslie West in Mountain. It was a holygrail of tone that couldn’t be quantified as anything other than sheerperfection.

Needless to say, I’m a p-90 junkie at heart. I do own an early ’58 TVspecial and an early slab body ’59 – both double cuts; both models ofpure excellence in guitar craftsmanship.

The ‘59™ DT is my homage to this definitive era in guitar making history.I’ve combined the best elements of the ‘58 Special and the ’59 Juniorinto a model that is nothing less than a tribute to two legendaryAmerican made instruments.
